And then came the new year..2012
The International Fashion Showcase 2012 - 15 February to 2 March 2012 @ The British Council in London.
Beryl was one of the International Fashion Showcase 2012 project coordinators. Organised by the British Council and the British Fashion Council to showcase emerging fashion talents from all the embassies in the world, Beryl collaborated with the Botswana High Commission in London to facilitate the participation of Botswana fashion designers in this historic fashion event. This initiation commenced in August 2010...involved a lot of hard work, travelling, meetings, long distance phone calls... but it was achievable! I wasn't only part of the coordinating team but also participated in the exhibition as one of the Batswana diaspora fashion designers living in the UK. To find out more about this exciting event please click on the media coverage links below and a video of the Award Ceremony.. ENJOY!!
